First Time Guest?

 We know that it can be intimidating to make a first time visit to a church.  So we want to assure you that, whoever you are, it is our goal to show you exceptional hospitality in welcoming you to Our Savior's. 

What You Can Expect

There is no dress code.  Come as you feel comfortable.  There is designated parking for first time guests.  The entrance to the worship center is on the lower level off of the parking lot.  Once you enter there is an information center to your left where a person will be able to address your questions and needs. 

The worship center is to your right. 

The nursery which is professionally staffed, sanitary and secure is directly in front of you.  Our restrooms are to your left. Then keep going left into our fellowship hall where brunch is served and friendships are formed. The stairs are to your right in the fellowship hall which will take you to our children's worship center for those of elementary age.  Don't worry.  There will be a greeter to help you find your way.

Our 9:00 a.m. Sunday worship is in the classic style of traditional Christian worship.  We sing hymns.  Our music is led by our wonderful organist and choir director, Jan Houser.  Worship is about an hour.

At 10:00 a.m. there is an opportunity to meet people and share delightful brunch type food in the fellowship hall.  Relax.  It is the responsibility of others to greet you without overwhelming you.  You will never be singled out publicly as a visitor in a manner that might make you feel uncomfortable.

At 10:30 a.m. our modern worship led by a praise band and our talented worship minister, Kyle Bellinger, begins.  People will worship with various postures.  Some might have their arms raised.  Some may have their arms crossed.  So however you feel led to worship is the right way.  This worship is driven by contemporary Christian music that you might hear on the radio.

The 10:30 a.m. time frame is also the start of our multidimensional Kids in Christ children's worship.  People from age 2 through kindergarten are downstairs in the nursery.  (The nursery is always available for your needs during the morning.)  Elementary aged children are upstairs in the children's worship center.  The experience is much like Vacation Bible School if you are familiar with that.  There is singing, story telling, games, crafts, etc.  Our focus is on young families.  We promise to take good care of and nurture well your children.  Let us know if we don't exceed your expectations.

We are a community of radical grace, meaning that we celebrate God's unconditional love for all His people.  It is our intention that you experience a reflection of that love when you visit Our Savior's.
